Each year Star 106 hosts the Star 106 McCloskey Appliance Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon to raise money to help the Children’s Miracle Network and the University Of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
The goal of the “Kids Helping Kids” Campaign is to teach kids the importance of giving back to their community and helping those in need. The kids receiving help and treatment at the University Of Iowa Children’s Hospital are their friends and classmates at school.
Star 106 has challenged ALL the kids at area schools to fundraise and donate the proceeds to the Star 106 McCloskey Appliance Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon. Whether it’s a wacky hat day at school, front row seats to a high school football game, a car wash, bake sale or whatever they decide to do to fundraise.
We will encourage the students to present the money they raised during the Star 106 McCloskey Appliance Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon.
