⚡❄ Severe Weather Followed By Snow Friday Night
A strong spring storm system will initially bring much warmer weather to Iowa beginning on Thursday. Scattered thunderstorms are possible Thursday night with an isolated severe storm possible. A greater threat for severe weather arrives late Friday morning and into the afternoon. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes all are possible. Storms will be morning at 50 mph or greater.
Light to moderate snow accumulations are also possible Friday evening into Saturday morning after the severe weather threat has ended. Monitor the latest forecasts on the potential for this spring storm.
