14 Festive Hotel Gingerbread Displays

Several hotels around the nation have awe-inspiring gingerbread displays for their guests to enjoy.

At the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, the gingerbread display took 288 hours with the help of 10 pastry chefs and two carpenters.

The display at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego used 4,000 pounds of ingredients, one ton of powdered sugar, 750 pounds of granulated sugar, 750 pounds of flour, and 2,160 eggs.

Waldorf Astoria Chicago’s display used 100 pounds of gingerbread cookies, 60 pounds of fondant, 60 pounds of royal icing, and 50 pounds of candy.
