Airports Brace For Busiest Travel Weekend In 3 Years
Airports are bracing for what could be the busiest travel weekend in years.
AAA expects more than 137 million Americans to hit the road this weekend, as travel returns to pre-pandemic levels.
About 80% of those travelers will be taking their cars, meaning traffic could be heavy.
Air travel could also get dicey – over 146,000 flights have been canceled this year due to staffing shortages.
Despite a rough summer, some industry experts are cautiously optimistic about air travel this Labor Day holiday weekend, with predictions for a smoother fall travel season.https://t.co/vw5OSbV0ib
