An Asteroid Will Come Close to Earth on Thursday
An asteroid will come very close to Earth on Thursday night, but there is no need to panic.
According to NASA, the asteroid-called 2023 BU- will be 2,200 miles above Earth. It’ll be at its closest when it passes over the edge of South America around 7:27 p.m. eastern time.
The asteroid was first discovered on Saturday. NASA has assured the public that there is no need to worry about being hit by the small asteroid.
