Applebee’s Offered Free Appetizers in Hopes of Luring in 10,000 Job Candidates

May 17th was national hiring day for the Applebees chain. As a way to get more people to apply for jobs they did ‘Apps for Apps.”
Candidates received a coupon for a free appetizer for filling out a job application. The chain had 10,000 positions to fill and 40,000 people applied for jobs.
The appetizer category is the top selling category for Applebees.
