Boston Marathon Postponed Until September

The 124th Boston Marathon has been postponed until September 14th.  It was originally scheduled for April 20th.

The cancellation is in response to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

The marathon is the planet’s most celebrated race, but officials are concerned about the health of the estimated 1M spectators expected to line the race route.
