Flu season is ramping up as we head into the winter months.
The CDC says 6 million flu cases have been confirmed in the U.S. so far, with 29,000 deaths and 53,000 hospitalizations. This year’s flu season began earlier than normal.
It typically peaks in December and January. The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an annual flu shot.
