Eating Cereal That Expired In 1997

Once something hits its sell by or use by date you might have a couple of days before it actually goes bad.  Trying to eat something that is 21 years past its expiration date is something else entirely.

A family in Colorado bought a box of cereal and didn’t realize until after that started eating it that it had expired in 1997!

I think it’s time to check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING I buy from now on, not just the bread and milk.
