Economists Split On Whether U.S. Is Headed For Recession
Experts can’t seem to agree on whether or not the U.S. is headed for a recession.
A recent Bloomberg poll of economists gave the U.S. a 47.5% chance of recession by next year.
A Reuters poll had similar results, at 45%.
For some, it depends on which numbers you look at – the declining GDP suggests a recession is imminent, but low unemployment and high demand for jobs suggests otherwise.
