
Mason City Public Library Program: Working with the Enemy

The Mason City Public Library is pleased to introduce Chad Timm who will present a program entitled Working with the Enemy: German, Italian, and Japanese Prisoners of War in Iowa during the Second World War.
The program will be held in the Mason City Room at the library on Thursday the 23rd of February at 5:30 P.M. This event is open to the public and is free of charge.
Mr. Timm is a professor of Education at Simpson College and an expert on the Japanese, Italian, and German soldiers that lived and worked in Iowa during World War II.
This program is funded by Humanities Iowa, a private, non-profit and the State Historical Society, INC. A cultural resource for Iowans since 1971, Humanities Iowa brings humanities programs into the heart of Iowa communities.
