New Year’s Holiday Mason City

City offices will also be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Those residents that normally have City sanitation services on Monday will have collection on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Mason City Transit will be operating on January 2, 2023.

As a reminder, citizens are asked to have their garbage and recyclables on the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the sanitation pick-up day.
