Fauci Warns Of Another COVID-19 Outbreak In The US
The lull in new COVID-19 cases in the United States is likely temporary, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The White House’s infectious disease expert says he thinks the newest coronavirus variant, the BA.2, will likely result in the number of U.S. cases to start rising again.
“Whether or not that is going to lead to another surge, a mini-surge or maybe even a moderate surge is very unclear because there are a lot of other things that are going on right now,” Fauci says.
Fauci’s prediction comes after all U.S. states have dropped their mask mandates and vaccine requirements.
White House adviser Anthony Fauci is warning that COVID-19 infection rates are likely to rise in the next few weeks in the United States after their dramatic drop following the omicron variant’s rapid spread across the country. https://t.co/nGR9t3aIuI
