Federal student loan payments are resuming this month, for the first time in three years.
Payments and interest were first suspended in March of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Borrowers can check their balance and payment due by logging in to their account at StudentAid.gov.
A 12-month grace period is available for borrowers who struggle to make their initial payments.
