Feelin’ Hot, Hot, Hot With Record-Busting Temps In U.S.
Blistering heat shows no signs of letting up in the southwest and parts of Utah, Montana, and Wyoming this week.
The National Weather Service says temps in Phoenix are likely to break records with highs expected to reach 116 on Wednesday and 118 on Thursday and Friday.
Salt Lake City already hit 107 degrees Tuesday to tie its hottest temperature ever recorded.
Marvin Percha, a senior forecaster at the weather service’s Phoenix office said, “It is kind of early to see temperatures this high, that’s for sure.”
