Gas Prices Hold Steady At Just Under $5
Gas prices held steady over the weekend, at just under $5 per gallon nationwide.
Per AAA’s gas tracker, the average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. was $4.98 as of Monday morning – after first dropping below the $5 mark on Saturday.
That’s still nearly $2 more than gas prices at this point one year ago – when the average was $3.07 per gallon.
The most expensive gas is in California, which averages $6.39 per gallon.
The ‘cheapest’ is in Georgia, at $4.47 per gallon.
