Good News: A Grandma’s Recipe, a Kid Musician, and a Huge Step for the World’s Biggest Jewelry Company

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Tourism in Hawaii got hit even harder by the pandemic, because no one was flying.  But things are finally bouncing back.  Around half of Hawaii’s hotel rooms are now occupied, which still isn’t great.  But a year ago, it was 12%.

2.  How cool would this be for Mother’s Day?  A family took their grandmother’s handwritten recipe for chicken salad, blew it up, and made it the wallpaper in their pantry.  They surprised her with it, and there’s a video making the rounds online.

3.  A nine-year-old kid near Orlando recently made the news after setting up his keyboard in his driveway and playing songs for people, just to cheer them up.  He says he tries to learn a new song every day, and loves to make people happy.

4.  Pandora Group . . . the world’s largest jewelry maker . . . just announced they won’t use mined diamonds anymore because of all the human rights violations that come with it.  Going forward, they’ll only use diamonds made in a lab.
