Good News: A Nurse Hits the Lottery, a Guy Tips His Entire Stimulus Check, and a Generous Waiter Turns Down $2,021

Here are a few more good news stories making the rounds . . .

1.  Two random people in Missouri pulled a driver from a burning truck on Wednesday and saved his life.  Now cops are trying to track them down to say thanks.

2.  A COVID nurse in North Carolina just hit the lottery for a million bucks.

3.  An anonymous guy in Idaho used his stimulus money to leave a $600 tip.  He wrote on the receipt that the pandemic hasn’t affected his job, but he got a stimulus check anyway.  So he felt like sharing it was the right thing to do.

4.  A waiter at an Indian restaurant in Missouri turned down a $2,021 tip the other day.  The customers who gave it to him were doing a “Venmo Challenge” thing after they raised money online.

He thanked them but said he’s doing okay, and knows a lot of other restaurant workers aren’t.  So he asked them to hang onto the money . . . go to a different restaurant later . . . and give it to someone else.
