Group Offers Tours of Detroit Cemeteries
If you’re looking for something to get you into the Halloween mood, one group in Detroit has just the thing.
Preservation Detroit is a group offering walking tours some of the city’s historic cemeteries.
The tours take place in the afternoon and showcase some of the architecture and art found in the graveyards.
Some of the tours even feature big names, such as Aretha Franklin, Rosa Parks, as well as veterans from every war since the Revolutionary War.
Money raised from the tours goes toward preservation efforts in Detroit.
