How College Students Can Fight Inflation
A new crop of students are heading off to college this year – only to find school expenses are through the roof due to inflation.
Here are some ways for college students to save money this semester: Rent your textbooks – or wait to buy them: Textbooks can cost a bundle, but renting them is a much cheaper option.
It’s also smart to wait until the first day of class – sometimes the professor will let students know that certain textbooks are optional.
Stick with your meal plan – resist the temptation to go out to eat and stick with the campus cafeteria – after all, those meals are already paid for, so any meals you skip means money going to waste.
Take advantage of student discounts – plenty of businesses offer student discounts on things like public transit, movie tickets, car insurance – even services like Amazon Prime or Apple Music.
