Hurricane Delta To Make Landfall Friday Evening

Hurricane Delta is expected to make landfall on the U.S. Gulf Coast by Friday evening – possibly striking the same part of Louisiana that was battered by Hurricane Laura in August. The Category 3 storm has sustained winds of 115 miles per hour and could bring a storm surge of up to 11 feet. It would be the sixth hurricane to reach Louisiana this year, and if it reached Lake Charles, it would be the first time ever a hurricane hit the same place twice in one season.
