Inflation Has People Cutting Back On Holiday Gifts
Things might be a little lighter under the tree this year – if you can even afford a tree, that is.
With inflation continuing to go up, many Americans will be cutting back on holiday gift shopping this year.
One survey found that roughly 50% of shoppers plan on buying fewer gifts this year.
Others plan to save money by using coupons, buying in bulk, or buying used items.
The average U.S. household spends about $1,455 on holiday gifts each year.
