Iowa Cops Rescue Piglet from Busy Roadway
Police officers in Iowa City weren’t sure what they’d be facing when they responded to a report Wednesday about a ferocious animal that was terrorizing an area near Interstate 80.
As it turned out, their fears proved to be unfounded. The animal was a tiny piglet that was likely more frightened than any human could have been, according to the Iowa City P.D.
Police say they have no idea where the baby porker came from, but they do know where it is now: At the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center, where it’s “resting comfortably” after the ordeal.
