Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ Tops 100 Million YouTube Views, Propelled by ‘Stranger Things 4’

A single from 1985 has gained significant popularity due to the Netflix series “Stranger Things”.  Kate Bush’s “Running Up The Hill” was a single released in 1985 that didn’t gain a lot of radio play or made it to the top of the charts. The song actually only peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.

But due to the popularity of the series “Stranger Things”, it’s gaining significant radio play and plays on all streaming services thanks to the series. The video has received over 100 million views on YouTube.  The single is featured in the series as a way to escape the evil demon featured in the show.
