Beer is the most consumed alcohol in the world.
In fact, after water and tea, beer is actually the most popular drink in the world.
The revelation comes from an Insider Monkey list of the 10 most-consumed alcoholic drinks in the world.
After beer was wine and liqueur, followed by something called Baijiu, which is plays a prominent role in China’s drinking culture.
Whisky was number five followed by vodka, cider, rum, gin and tequila.
