Mason City Public Library Summer Reading Program.

Readers of all ages will explore all things space this summer at the Mason City Public Library during the 2019 Youth Services Summer Reading Program, A Universe of Stories.

This year’s program will run from May 28th to July 6th. Register for free and enjoy story time parties, crafts, yoga, contests, movies, reading incentives, special performers, an outdoor astronaut training camp, a scavenger hunt, a roller skating party, and much, much more! Kids and teens who participate will keep track of their reading and earn prizes as they reach their goals. Everyone that completes their reading log receives a book and an entry into the grand prize drawing of their choice.

This year’s special performers include The Zoo Man and his live animals and musician Duke Otherwise! Last year, participants in the MCPL Youth Services Summer Reading Prograread over half a million minutes! Get ready for an out-of-this-world good time and register for this awesome, educational, and free program!

Online registration begins May 1st at www.mcpl.org. In-house registration begins May 28th. Questions? Call the MCPL Youth Services Desk at 641.421.3671.
