Matthew Perry Says Jennifer Aniston Confronted Him About His Drinking in Diane Sawyer Interview Trailer

Matthew Perry is sitting down for the first time to discuss he derailment into drugs and alcohol.

The former “Friends” star sat down with Diane Sawyer to discuss how he almost died.

Perry was addicted to opioids and drinking heavily. At the height of his drug abuse, Perry says he was taking “55 Vicodin a day.” Sawyer also mentioned he was doing “Methadone, Xanax, a full quart of vodka a day” Perry says he was confronted by Jennifer Aniston, who he calls “Jenny,” and says he support was crucial.

“She was the one that reached out the most,” he tells Sawyer. “I’m really grateful to her for that.” Matthew Perry—The Diane Sawyer Interview premieres Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
