More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak – Thursday Edition
Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .
1. If you’ve had to cancel your Thanksgiving plans, Zoom is here to help. They’re dropping their 40-minute limit on their free plan all day long on Thanksgiving, so you can host an awkward family video chat that lasts as long as you can take it.
2. Three out of five people say they used to take a lot of essential workers for granted . . . but now, three-quarters of people go out of their way to THANK them. The workers we thank the most include nurses, doctors, and delivery drivers.
3. A woman in the U.K. who got a severe coronavirus case in early March gave birth to premature TWINS via C-section while she was in an induced coma.
She came out of the coma several days later and was surprised to meet her babies . . . and now they’re all home and doing well.
4. More news to be cautiously optimistic about on the testing and vaccine front: The FDA has cleared the first at-home test that gives you results in 30 minutes . . . and Pfizer’s vaccine was 95% effective in clinical trials with no serious side effects.
