More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak – Tuesday Edition

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  At least one country has shown this won’t last forever.  New Zealand just removed almost all of its restrictions.  Because as of yesterday, there were zero known cases of coronavirus there.

2.  Two healthcare workers in the U.K. were supposed to get married last month, but had to cancel it.  So the boyfriend organized a surprise makeshift wedding at work, with flowers and food based on what they would have had at the wedding.  A bunch of her coworkers were in on the surprise too.

3.  A hotel in England has stayed open during the pandemic to give homeless people a free place to stay.  And they’ve been returning the favor by doing odd jobs like gardening, cleaning up, and helping them build a new patio.

4.  The first peer-reviewed study on the lockdown found it’s actually made a HUGE difference.  According to the study, it’s prevented 60 million people in the U.S. from catching the virus, and half-a-BILLION people worldwide.
