More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak – Wednesday Edition

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  Restaurants that rely on delivery apps lose out on a lot of money.  So volunteers in San Francisco have been helping out by delivering food for free.  A group called North Beach Delivers picks one restaurant a week, and handles their deliveries for a night.  They also give them any tips they make.

2.  A World War Two vet in Rhode Island turned 93 over the weekend.  So his friends and neighbors put together a big socially distanced parade for him.  His daughter says he loved it, and even drank a beer.

3.  A group of college kids in Tucson is offering free tutoring to kids at their old high school.  Everything from math and statistics to biology and economics.

4.  A 16-year-old girl in Massachusetts named Gaby Zola has used her time in lockdown to raise thousands of dollars to help feed first responders.  She’s also supporting small businesses, because she only orders from local restaurants.
