NASA Celebrates 50th Anniversary Of Apollo 15 Mission
NASA is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 15 mission this week.
Apollo 15 was NASA’s fourth trip to the moon’s surface, touching down August 2nd, 1971.
It’s also the mission that deployed the first Lunar Roving Vehicle, or ‘Moon Buggy’ – which remains on the moon’s surface to this day.
To mark the occasion, NASA released a series of fully remastered panoramic photographs from the mission. NASA is hoping to return to the moon in the next few years as part of its Artemis Project.
Wow, love these.
