Friday night the North Iowa Bulls and their fans took part in one of the best traditions in hockey, the teddy bear toss.  Fans were encouraged to bring stuffed animals to the game and toss them on the ice after the Bulls scored their first goal.  Friday night Bulls fans didn’t have to wait long.  Just 46 seconds into the game Nick Bowlin scored and the stuffed animals flew from the stands onto the ice.  The stuffed animals are given to the Salvation Army to give to families in need during the holidays.  The Bulls went on to win the game over New Ulm 6-3.

Listen to interviews with the Head Coach of the North Iowa Bulls all season long.
