The pandemic has left millions of Americans struggling with huge medical bills.

A multi-day hospital stay for COVID-19 can end up costing more than $100,000 – made even worse by many losing their job and health insurance during the pandemic.

According to finance company Credit Karma, medical debt among its members grew by $2.8 billion over the last ten months – and more than 21 million customers are facing past-due medical bills.
