Panel Says Adults Should Get Regular Anxiety Screenings
A panel of doctors says that adults should be regularly screened for anxiety.
That’s the proposal from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, who say screenings are even more important given the isolation and stress from the pandemic.
Roughly 40% of women and 25% of men under the age of 65 report experiencing anxiety at some point in their lives.
Earlier this year, the group offered a similar recommendation for children and teens.
