PlayStation Store Discontinuing Movies and TV Purchases and Rentals

It’s just been announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment that they will stop movie and TV purchases and rentals on its platform.
According to the head of Video Business, Vanessa Bee, the decision comes as streaming platforms and other services have grown and the rental market has declined.
If you’ve already purchased rentals on your PS4 or PS5 don’t panic, you’ll still be able to access everything even after the change takes place on August 31. If you want to rent something after August 31, sorry.
