Restaurant Sales Were Nearly Back To Normal Last Month
The pandemic isn’t quite over yet – but the restaurant industry is nearly back to normal.
Restaurant sales went up 36% in March to $61.2 billion – just $1 billion shy of the sales from March of 2019, a year before the pandemic began. It’s a strong sign for the economy heading into the spring and summer months as more Americans are fully vaccinated.
Restaurant sales rose 13.4% month-over-month in March and 34% over year-ago levels.https://t.co/8eHxInPaIr
