Snow Likely Thursday Night
A storm system is expected to affect all of Iowa on Thursday into Friday morning. While rain will primarily affect the southern half of the state, wintry weather is expected across portions of northern Iowa with the threat of light to moderate accumulating snowfall by late Thursday into early Friday.
Some freezing rain may also occur with minor icing as well. The axis of wintry weather has shifted northward and may continue to adjust in subsequent forecasts.
Keep updated on the forecast and have considerations for potentially difficult travel conditions late Thursday into Friday morning.
