Strong to Severe Storms Possible late this Memorial Day

After thunderstorms across western Iowa early this morning, additional thunderstorms are expected to develop across northwest Iowa during the late afternoon or early evening hours, and then also farther into central Iowa later this evening. Some of the storms may be severe with large hail, damaging wind, and some tornadoes all possible. Locally heavy rains may occur with the stronger storms as well.
