Study Finds Toxic Chemicals in Top Makeup Brands
You may want to wait on slapping on some of that eyeliner.
A new study has found that major makeup brands contain toxic “forever chemicals” in their lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner, blush, and more.
“Forever chemicals” get their name because they are not known to naturally break down and have been found to collect in humans.
The evidence of these chemicals are shown in just about how much flourine a product has, which was mostly found in waterproof mascara.
These chemicals have been found to have been linked to birth defects, cancer, and lower immunity.
Cosmetics distributed in the United States and Canada are rife with a class of chemicals that have been associated with a number of diseases, including cancer, and frequently aren’t labeled accurately, according to a new study https://t.co/Y7bjqyHxeg
