Thieves Steal 400 Gallons Of Gas From North Carolina Gas Station
As gas prices keep going up, some people are resorting to the old five-finger discount to fill up their tanks.
A North Carolina gas station was robbed of nearly 400 gallons of gas by a thief who used a “remote control like object” to bypass the pump’s payment system.
Surveillance video shows the person using the device, filling their tank, then waving more than a dozen cars to do the same.
All told, they made off with about $1,600 worth of fuel.
Earlier this month, a Texas gas station was robbed of more than 1,000 gallons by thieves who siphoned it out of the station’s tank.
