Tips: Kids Birthday Party On A Budget

Your child’s birthday party is a memorable day.  But if you let it, it can get out of control quickly.  Putting together a birthday party can lead out of control costs and out of control stress.

Between the food, the party favors and not mention the presents the cost of throwing a party can quickly break the bank.

Here are some tips from Parents.com on how to throw a birthday party on a budget.

  1. Plan your party in the middle of the afternoon.  If the party is in between lunch and supper you don’t need to serve a full fledged meal.
  2. Send out electronic invites instead of paper invites
  3. Plan no cost activities.  Play games like simon says, charades or hot potato.
