U.S. Jobless Claims Drop Fourth Time in Five Weeks

The number of jobless claims being filed in the U.S. continues to drop.
For the week ending January 28, the number of new claims dropped to 183 thousand.
This marks the fourth time in five weeks that the claim numbers have dropped. This is the lowest number since April of 2022.
For the week ending January 21, the number of continuing claims fell to 1.66 million.
