UPTOWN Water Main Flushing

The City of Mason City Water Division will be flushing water mains from 5th Street N to 5th Street S & from Pennsylvania Ave to Washington Ave from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20th and ending Friday, October 21st.
Some discoloration of the water may be noticeable after mains are flushed, however, the water is safe to drink.
Caution should be used when washing clothing because discolored water may cause staining.
Please do not park near or across from fire hydrants during this time.
