Want to Save Money on Your Vacation? Don’t Let a Man Plan It

Three out of four Americans are going on at least one vacation this summer.  And almost half plan to spend more than they normally would.  But if you want to save money on vacation, here’s a fun hack:  Don’t let a guy plan it.

Someone asked people how much they plan to spend on their vacation this year.  And men are around 50% more likely to go big and overspend.

33% of women who are planning a big vacation say they’ll spend less than $1,000 on it . . . compared to just 21% of men.  And it even holds true for huge vacations.  Men are twice as likely as women to plan a vacation that costs over $7,500.
