A Venomous Snake Was Found In A Bag Of Aldi Lettuce
A man in Sydney, Australia found an eight inch venomous snake in a bag of lettuce he just purchased at his local Aldi store.
According to the Australian Museum, if bitten, the venom can “produce some unpleasant symptoms, including severe headache, blurred vision, localized pain, and abnormal bleeding”.
The man called a wildlife organization to come and get the snake. He also admitted that he ate the lettuce; “I have eaten the lettuce. I washed it thoroughly”.
