AAA’s Memorial Day Travel Forecast is Busy

Memorial Day is coming up this month and should be another busy day for travel.
According to AAA, around 42.3 million people are predicted to be traveling this Memorial Day weekend. This is a 7% jump over 2022’s estimate. “This is expected to be the third busiest Memorial Day weekend since 2000, when AAA started tracking holiday travel,” said AAA Travel’s senior vice president Paula Twidale.
“More Americans are planning trips and booking them earlier, despite inflation. This summer travel season could be one for the record books, especially at airports.”
