Amazon will soon be taking over Thursday Night Football – and they reportedly want a big name to call the games.
According to reports, Amazon wants to steal Al Michaels away from NBC, and is offering not just top money – possibly more than $1 million per game – but a package that includes bringing in some of the Sunday Night Football production team in as well.
Other names being considered by Amazon include Fox’s Joe Buck and Ian Eagle from CBS.
Amazon will be paying the NFL $1 billion a year for the rights to Thursday Night Football, staring in the 2022/23 season.
