More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak – Monday Edition
Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .
1. A new poll asked people to name the best perks of working from home during the pandemic. And both of the top two answers have to do with family: More time with them in general, and more meals together.
2. A couple from Baltimore was supposed to get married in May, but had to cancel the wedding. So they took the rest of their budget . . . bought a camper van . . . and they’ve been on an extended honeymoon, driving all over the country.
3. Right before the lockdowns hit in February, a guy from the U.S. went to visit a woman he knew in Italy . . . so he got stuck there. But he says it made 2020 his BEST year ever. They spent so much time together, they fell in love. And last month, they got married.
4. Last week, the fast food joint Sonic put a single cup of ice up for sale on eBay, and said they were auctioning it off for charity. The money will go toward supplies for teachers. Well, the auction ended yesterday . . . and the winning bid was $11,211.
