More “Good News” Stories from the Coronavirus Outbreak

Here are a few more good news stories from the outbreak . . .

1.  Nike is donating 30,000 pairs of shoes to healthcare workers around the country.  The shoes are the “Air Zoom Pulse,” which they released last November specifically designed for the needs of healthcare workers.

2.  Americans are now working harder to perform more charitable acts.  The top ways people are giving back to their communities are donating to food drives, donating to local charities, supporting local farmers, and donating blood.

3.  Tabari Wallace, the principal of West Craven High School in Vanceboro, North Carolina, surprised all 220 of the school’s graduating seniors by going to their houses to congratulate them in person.

4.  A couple in Illinois will donate $10 to a charity helping kids with cancer for everyone who cuts their own hair at home and uses the hashtag #MyQuarantineCut.  The couple lost their three-year-old daughter to cancer two years ago.
