New Coronavirus Relief Bill Includes $600 Stimulus Checks

As the U.S. continues to grapple with the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, some help will soon be on the way.

Today (Monday), Congress is expected to pass a nearly $1 trillion COVID-19 relief bill that will include a second stimulus check for $600 and an extra $300 in enhanced unemployment insurance for 11 weeks.

The new relief bill also includes $248 billion for another round of loans for small businesses; $12 billion of which is earmarked for minority-owned businesses and $15 billion for live venues and independent movie theaters.
